There was a little piece broken off but did not affect the use of the hinge. The hinge was kind of spendy but they are hard to come by and saved us from having to buy a new washer so as long as it lasts for a few more years I'm not gonna complain!

It looks like it was run over by a truck! Some of the floss was pull out of the hole, but is OK. Not your fault at all. I continue to be disgusted with USPS though.
