The Panasonic cordless handset arrived on time. Over a period of a few days, I had a very difficult time setting it up to become operational. I didn't know that it had to be registered with my base station, meaning there were a series of hoops that needed to be jumped through. It was my false assumption that the headset would "simply work" when charged up. My bad. Anyway, it now works, and all is good. In such cases, perhaps the seller might include a note stating such. I don't fault the seller.
