Everything was clean despite being used and the chassis had no dents or other issues. This was a good deal and after swapping some insides it is actively used running 24/7 workloads.

An issue that should have been noticed in testing was the CMOS battery was reporting as failed on IPMI, luckily that is a cheap fix. BIOS was locked to 2.0a (from 2017), BMC was latest version (2025). The BIOS was locked and could not be upgraded without flashing w/ a SPI Programmer. Not UNIXSurplus' fault, but heads up if 2nd Gen Intel is needed.
