I can't say the eggs are as described, because only one was dark where I could not candle it, the other five were like any other brown egg from the store and translucent when candled. The value was good as it was an auction and I received an extra egg as the auction only listed 5+1.5+ Lavender Black Birchen Marans chicken hatching eggs (#136050243976)
