- i***d (608)- Feedback left by buyer.More than a year agoVerified purchaseThis is the floppiest straw hat I have ever seen. I expect a western style hat to have some stiffness to it. This one has none. I have been wearing it off and on (alternating with my old hat) for about two months while working around my property. The perimeter wire in the brim bends easily and hard to get back to its original shape. It was not worth the almost $50 that I paid for the hat plus around $40 for the shipping. Listing clearly states that this hat is "soft & pliable". Wetting the hat will oftentimes stiffen it for a while & help keep the straw from drying out. Shipping charges are exactly what USPS charges - oversized boxes are high.

For some reason the shipping went to Atlanta to Montgomery Al and then back to Atlanta. That didn't make sense and probably cost a couple days in shipping. Shipping cost was a little high but the initial cost of the hat was good so total wasn't too bad.
