Und Taras Mama hat gesagt: "Gott steh uns bei, dass wir einigermaßen Glück haben." Das muss Gott wohl gehört haben, denn nirgendwo auf der Welt ist es so schön wie im Möwenweg. Dabei ist der Möwenweg noch nicht mal asphaltiert, sondern immer noch Baustraße. Skaten und bladen geht also nicht. Weil überall nur Matsch ist. Aber gleich hinter den Gärten fangen die Wiesen und Felder an. Da gibt es Kühe und wilde Kaninchen, und einmal haben sie sogar ein Reh gesehen. Die Nachbarn sind auch alle nett. Fast alle jedenfalls. Am schönsten ist es aber, dass es im Möwenweg so viele Kinder gibt. Da kann man immer was zusammen machen: Schlammwüste spielen, auf Verbrecherjagd gehen, picknicken oder im Zelt übernachten. Und eine Bande gründen natürlich sowieso. Laurin, Vincent und Petja sind manchmal zwar ziemlich blöde, aber was will man von Jungs schon anderes erwarten. Hauptsache, die Mädchen sind nett. Und das sind sie. Eine von ihnen, Tieneke, ist sogar schon Taras beste Freundin. Ist es da noch ein Wunder, dass Tara nirgendwo auf der ganzen Welt wohnen möchte als im Möwenweg?
