The clutch was bad. Looked good, but once installed x 2, it would not shift either time. I bought a new clutch somewhere else, installed, and the new one works great. I work on a lot of cars and can guarantee this clutch was faulty out of the box. Could kind of see an issue with 4 spring loaded metal tabs but not sure if it was the issue.
