    It is listed as a replacement for my car. But it really didn't fit or not fit but did not wire up right. He took a while to figure out how to wire it. So when I turn the radio on the antenna went up and when I turned the radio off, the antenna went down.

    After snippng off and stripping the insulation off of two of the leads from the junction block on the 1995 Cadillac Deville's wiring harness, I had connected the orange and green wires from the aftermarket antenna motor. The black wire from the vehicle's harness to the connector block can be cut off cleanly and be taped or wire nutted, as it will typically remained unused. The black wire with the crimped on ring fastener on the aftermarket antenna is the ground wire. It does work as described.
