The demonstrations capture interest, teach, inform, fascinate, amaze, and perhaps, most importantly, involve students in chemistry. Shakhashiri and his collaborators offer 282 chemical demonstrations arranged in 11 chapters. Each demonstration includes seven sections: a brief summary, a materials list, a step-by-step account of procedures to be used, an explanation of the hazards involved, information on how to store or dispose of the chemicals used, a discussion of the phenomena displayed and principles illustrated by the demonstration, and a list of references., This text lists 69 lecture demonstrations, 110 procedures for displaying chemical phenomena in college and secondary shcool chemistry classes. Each chapter includes an introduction providing the teacher with information about the concepts, terminology and principles relating to the demonstrations.

    Good seller, fast dispatch and delivery time from the U.S to the UK. Packaged was okay but I'd of payed a bit more to have a card backed envelope... as the photo got some creases in it. These were visible on the envelope too so were done in shipping. But its not the end of the world but just something to think about for the seller. More than happy to own this piece of history though.
