After platinum success with several recordings, Ruben Blades earned the status of one of Latin America's most important talents (in 1992, Blades formed Seis Del Solar and released Agua de Luna, an album which earned him his first Grammy Award). Agua de Luna launched the hit "Pedro Navaja," a song which reached #1 in the U.S. and Latin America - it's sequel, "Sorpresas" is included in this excellent set, which features the culture and tradition of Latin America as interpreted by a salsa legend.
