This Williams Bicentennial aluminum passenger set is actually new in box. The person who assembled the passenger cars 49 years ago did an excellent assembly job; used die cast, postwar aluminum car trucks/couplers rather than the cheap ones supplied with the kit; and wired the lights in parallel to prevent flickering. Williams sold this set as a kit in 1976.
