Because an old screw set was included, I'm guessing the figurine may at one time been attached to a lamp base. It arrived very quickly and was safe inside the seller's many layers of protective materials and appropriate size box. Even the extended parts of the sculpture arrived intact thanks to the Seller, no thanks to the postal carrier who, I think, dropped the box from a height outside my front door.
