    This rod arrived as advertised only better. The pics didn't do it justice. Other than some darkening on the cork, this rod looks absolutely new, not from 1966. Shipping was pretty high but in the long run, the rod is worth more than the bid and shipping costs. I would have hoped for a bit more robust shipping package such as a PVC tube, heavy cardboard tube etc vs. the rod wrapped with bubble wrap in three places in inside triangular cardboard for the shipping price. A+++ experience.
