Seller Notes: “Clean covers and spines. Sharp cover corners. Some rubbing of the leather along the edges of the ... “Clean covers and spines. Sharp cover corners. Some rubbing of the leather along the edges of the spines, and to a few of the cover corners. Both volumes are tightly bound with no cracks and no loose pages. All covers are firmly attached. Bright gilt top page edges. Nice interiors - the text pages are clean with no notable issues found; the "Works of Bronte" page at the front of Volume I has a couple tiny stain spots near the top-right corner. All illustrated plates (and their tissue guards) are present as called for and are firmly attached; light tanning to a few of the tissue guards over the plates. Each ribbon page marker is present but has detached. A small number of pages are still attached along the outer edge. Overall the set is in Very Good- condition.”
