Seller Notes: “This book is in very good condition with some restoration. It is in the original publisher’s green ... “This book is in very good condition with some restoration. It is in the original publisher’s green cloth. The cloth cover has been cleaned and restored with matching color applied to the repaired spine ends, joints and board corners. Interestingly, the title on the front board was produced with half the gilt missing (around the word World) and I took the liberty of trying to restore most of it. he text block has been rebound with heavier duty cloth backing and then recased into its cover. The original chocolate colored endpapers are gone and have been replaced with new, less acidic, similar colored paper. Several (5 or 6) pages have had their edges reinforced. The rest of the book is clean--no other marks or tears and few to no smudges or tears, dog-ears, etc. The pages are moderately toned as is usual with a book of this age. The book is complete with all original cover, pages and illustrations present.”
