- 2***2 (349)- Feedback left by buyer.Past monthVerified purchaseWhen I worked out that I needed a USB 3.0 Y splitter to power an older 250 Gb 2.5" HDD that I fitted to this caddy, as the supplied cable did not provide sufficient power to the drive to be able to transfer files on to it I was able to use it. I also tried it with a sata 128Gb SSD as they tend to have lower power requirements but it also needed a Y USB 3.0 to USB splitter.
