It seems to have some kind of electrical issue possibly. I have to mess around with the cord before getting it to start recharging. Don't know if I just didn't have it plugged all the way in or not both times. Noticed I need to put the small end that goes into the fan opposite from the first 2 I purchased. Used it today. Lasted almost 5 hrs. on a full charge. Rori
