The right channel only produces sound in direct mode and the bass and treble knobs do nothing. This is still a solid unit and does produce great sound when manipulated. The loudness button does compensate the bass. Luckily I know a local repair shop that does good work. There is no way to completely check everything for a receivers. Ebay allows 30 day return policy. When you brought the issue to my attention you said you wanted to get it fixed. I appologized and offered you a little credit for your trouble. Majority of sellers dont even test the receivers on ebay as they dont even know how to test them. I used to work in Frys Electronics and have sold many receivers.
