Unfortunately the sellers solution was for me to purchase the entire knob and boot kit a second time: and have extra parts! It’s not a lot of money, so I’m not too concerned, but if you’re purchasing this item thinking that this is going to fit your vw, you’ll be disappointed. In the upside, the knob is actually quite nice and looks to be well made. Nice heavy feel. Sadly it won’t fit.
