The fan is exactly what the seller described: open box, unused, chipped off downlight glass. However, the transmit remote controller was sticky with melted flux and did not work properly. I have to open the controller to clean the flux. It is working normally now. This minor issue is not the seller's fault but because the fan is 20 years old so the solder flux is disintegrated and melted.
