It's a little larger than the pump it replaced, but the super efficiency of it more than makes up for that little increase in size! My old pump ran for several minutes to build even minimum vacuum - this ran for 3 to 4 seconds before the dash vacuum switch shut it off because ideal vacuum had already been reached. Super, super good pump!!
