The only problem I had is when when it was running, I reached in from the passenger side and put my keys in the ignition. I grabbed my trash can from the street and when I got to my truck, it had timed out and shut off. When this happened, the truck locked with my keys in the ignition. Luckily I was home and had a spare key. You must turn the ignition on and press the brake to override the auto start.
