Product is claimed as new but with opened package, and for the most part it is. But one of my stones definitely looked used. However, being a diamond cutter, it doesn't matter all the much. Still cuts and gets the job done. But I think I over paid. A brand new one (never opened, and from factory) is only 10 bucks more.
