Great artificial Cedar/Cypress. I wanted a tall slender appearance. That worked out perfectly as that is the way it is shipped. If you want a wider base then you need to fluff out the branches. It arrives in three separate pieces. Very easy to assemble. As in most artificial trees it is slightly shorter than 8 ft and rounded up to 8 ft. However, once I put it in a taller pot it is now 9 ft.
