Made from billet, not cast as original, so stronger grain structure. appears to be produced by CNC mill/lathe. The original part has a sharp corner which makes it difficult to align with the 4 mounting posts, which leads to breakage of the part when bolts are tightened without being fully aligned. This replacement part has a radiused edge which helps to guide the posts into alignment
