No matter how many winds I use and where on the cable I try it, I cannot get consistent readings. I'll tun it down to 690 RPM then start getting readings at 1000-1100. At 2,400 I can hear the engine going faster, but it doesn't change on the reading. So, it hasn't worked out and I need another solution to actually tune the engine to the range I'm looking for.
