Introductory sections describe the history of modern roses generally and how best to plan and prepare for roses in the garden. Peter Beales is one of Britain's foremost rosarians. His commercial collection in Norfolk of classic and modern roses is one of the largest in Britain and he exports roses to many countries worldwide.
