It arrived undamaged and well packaged. It is quite heavy and sturdy. I plan to secure it so that it doesn't grow legs in my club, but it is sturdy enough it really doesn't need to be secured to function. I do wish that the ruler was easier to change from metric to inches. I look forward to using it. It made initial cuts nicely, with a nice clean cut. I recommend it.
