Parts that should have been made out of anything harder than aluminum, should have been. The part that goes on the shifter spindle stripped out as soon as I went to test the shifting. Then when I thought, I would try tightening the bolt on the part, that stripped out too. This is not a quality part. I tried drilling out the part and rethreading it but the part just cracked. Not I am left with a pile of junk that I paid a lot of money for.

I do apologize that there were problems but I assure you the part is made of the exact material it is supposed to be from, for the use it is designed for. We have thousands of them on bikes running for 15 years plus. BUT, they HAVE to be installed right and per our instructions the first time, or yes, it won't work. I offered to replace the part as well.
