All volumes are tightly bound with no cracks and no loose pages. All covers are firmly attached. Nice interiors - the pages of all volumes are clean with no notable issues found. Some of the covers & spines have fading to the cloth along the inner and/or outer edges. A modern bookplate has been affixed to the front pastedown of volume of VI. Bright gilt lettering on the spines. One volume has a bit of separation of the text block, though the binding is still intact and secure (see photo). A very nice set.”
