Particularly for those who use vintage equipment that might not be app/smart home/ARC/CEC compatible, but still work perfectly. That said, Logitech has stated that they'll continue to support their remote users for the forseeable future. The Harmony 650 used to sell for $60-70 (AUD) brand new, but now reach prices well over $300. This works well and is a bargain.
