Very happy with this transaction. The damage referred to in the description is very minor indeed (on most pages barely visible), & in no way affects the book’s readability. It surely cannot be a pencil pushed through the book, because there is no pencil mark, and because close examination shows it to have passed through 250+ thick pages, so more of a minor puzzle than damage. Must have been a very thin spike of some sort, & it took more than unaided human strength to force it all that way.
