Seller contacted me, told me they had tested the product and found the remote was not working. Offered to reduce the price to compensate for the faulty remote, or give me a full refund if I no longer wanted it. I couldn't understand why the seller felt the need to open a "new and sealed" item (and thereby changing its condition from "new" as listed to "open box" AFTER I paid for it) to test it, but I guess I appreciate that they found out it was defective. I accepted the full refund.
