A very important and detailed chronology of the Industry. Lots of names and histories of individual creators, their works and rareity prices too. Much more than just "another" book on toy figures, this older book contains an erudition and integrity not often found in similar works by such writers as james opie or others on the subject from the UK, which tend by preference and national interests to be somewhat non European. this older boook does not have that approach and is refreshingly un biase
