A minor downside (and no way around it that I can see) is that the release button on the Garmin mount is virtually impossible to reach.. You have to use the BMW side of dash button to release both the unit and the adaptor (not a show stopper!).

I received several message saying the item was to be delivered on certain day only to find out that it was being delivered to the next carrier. In the end it all worked out .
