The one from 1869 is in pretty nice shape, taking into account its age. The front cover has a few minor tears, also a sliver of loss off its top edge and off the top edge of the next page, neither reaching the print. There is a thin crease at the center of the pages where it was likely folded. There's also a little yellow tag at the bottom of the front cover, not sure what that is. The pages are mostly clean. There are no markings and no one has written anything in the newspaper. The front and rear cover of the one from 1870 is detached. It has a brown stain off the top edge of all but three pages. The stain doesn't reach any of the print. Otherwise, the pages are very clean. They are in good shape. I saw a handful of small edge tears, none reaching the print. There is corner creasing. That same tiny yellow tag is near to the top of the rear cover. And again there are no markings and....Condition Continued below....”
