However, when I went to install it, the little metal clip at the top came off and would not stay on when I put it back. Additionally, after installation, the item broke. I opened the tailgate a couple of times and it just snapped. It also would cause my tailgate to pop out when it comes down. I had to put it back into late the tailgate back up.
