The gilt on the spine is very bright. There's just a tiny bit of rubbing at the corners and spine ends. The edges are in very good shape. The page edges are perfectly clean. The book is square and very solidly bound from cover to cover. The inside covers and end papers, presenting the same map in white and blue, are very clean and free of wear. I scrolled through the pages several times without finding any soiling. They do have the expected toning at the margins that you often see on glossy paper. There are no markings anywhere in the book. I'm not seeing any creasing at all. There are no attachments. And the signed inscription is the only writing to be found anywhere. The dust jacket is in very good condition as well. It is very clean. It has one small tear off the bottom edge of the rear cover just adjacent to the spine. It also has one thin crease off the top edge of the spine and just adjacent to it.....Condition Continued below....”
