The quality is impressive. It feels substantial and does not look out of place in my equipment rack. As per performance, I did not do an A/B comparison, but after listening to several very familiar albums, I am of the "belief" that dynamics are slightly improved. I can't swear to that. Dead quiet. If you believe, like me, that linear PS's are superior, just buy it.
