I considered buying a used JBL 116 for my bookshelf speakers, as the voice coil was horribly shot. Though I d refoamed many woofers, including shimming the voice coil and replacing the dustcap, the thought of ripping the guts out of a speaker and starting over was intimidating. If it hadn t been for Sean and the great guys at SS answering my questions, and the detailed videos online, I never could have done it. These guys are pros and customer service is 5 stars.
