Yeezy Boost 350 V2 Low Cinder Non-Reflective

Rising High From Ash: adidas Yeezy Boost 350 v2 Cinder

placeholder

Yeezy Cinders are another take on the v2 350 line of sneakers. In essence, Cinders are muted black Yeezys that come in a reflective or non-reflective version. They share the basic features that have become trademarks of the v2 350 Boosts. However, the Cinder also adds some design twists that make them stand out without being loud.

Cinder colorway

Like any Yeezy, the Cinder non-reflective sneakers bring plenty of unique perks to the colorway. The base color is charcoal grey with a lateral post-dyed strip that is black. Laces reveal yet another shade of charcoal. You will notice the outside stripe continues its color into the heel pull tag, where it stitches onto the shoe. The remainder of the tag is the same color as the body of the kick. When you progress to the midsole, it has a rubber casing of a slate grey that matches the sock liner.

The bottom of the interior is the same color as the outer uppers. Three gold vertical stripes line the inner heel like other 350 v2s. A triangular cut-out window is on the dark gum-colored sole, allowing you to visualize the Boost system. In addition, there are vent windows between the ridges on the sneaker's sole on the ball of the foot. Finally, there is a yellow semi-circular pod on the heel that has Boost text etched across it.

When adidas Yeezy Cinder Non-Reflective launched

Much like the Marsh, the original concept people had about the Yeezy Cinder was a deep brown sneaker or at least one with heavy earth accents. The ash-tone kicks came out on March 21, 2020. In order to mute the black Primeknit, there was the addition of green and brown undertones, but the naked eye only sees charcoal. The non-reflective pairs arrived before the reflective ones, which were delayed until April.

Special features of the Cinder

As mentioned, the Cinder features gold adidas Yeezy Boos solest, referring to the plated tribute to the technology that is central to the sneaker line. These badged Cinders were the first of their kind in the v2 350 series. The Boost system appears white where you can see it and is comprised of particles expanded with air. This provides alternative cushioning to the EVA system, giving the wearer responsive and comfortable padding with each step.

A gum sole gives you traction with a design flare whereby it creeps upward to create a center stripe for the toe and the heel. On the midsole is the traditional rubber ridged casing, but on the Cinder, it is opaque rather than see-through. On the other hand, the Primeknit of the Cinder kick is translucent.
