Vladimir Guerrero MLB Jerseys

Inducted into the Major League Baseball Hall of Fame (MLB HOF) in 2018, Vladimir Guerrero is a former league MVP and nine-time All-Star. He was inducted by the Baseball Writers Association of America while garnering nearly 93 percent of votes. His legacy lives on through his HOF plaque, as well as all the jerseys he wore while playing for the MLB organization.

How long was Vladimir Guerrero's career?

Guerrero began his MLB career in 1996 as a 21-year-old player. He retired in 2011, completing a 16-year career, during which he captured more than 2,500 career hits and 449 total home runs.

How many teams did he represent?

Throughout those 16 years, Guerrero wore the colors of four different franchises. He began as a member of the Montreal Expos, playing there for eight seasons. He next saw action for the Angels franchise, first named the Anaheim Angels and then the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim.

Angels jerseys used to have "Anaheim" written across the chest, but after the switch, the fronts exclaimed "Angels." The color scheme was kept the same, using white as well as a dark red color. Big, red wording and numbers continued to serve to represent the text.

Guerrero made a few quick moves after Los Angeles before his career was complete. He played one season for the Texas Rangers in 2010, and his final MLB season was with the Baltimore Orioles as a 36-year-old designated hitter.

What jersey numbers did Guerrero sport during his career?

Vladimir Guerrero only wore one number throughout his entire career: 27. It was the first number he was given as an Expos player, and he never had another throughout his many stops.

What styling do Vlad jerseys utilize?

Each baseball franchise utilizes its own color schemes, styles, fonts, and designs. Early Guerrero jerseys represent the fluid text of Montreal on crisp, white shirts. The red, white, and blue color pattern bounces off the white background. However, there are other Expos options in a classic powder blue with the fancy script "M" in the corner and the numeral on the opposite side of the chest.

LAA uniforms are less varied. Outside of the full white or full salmon, Angels offerings include the road grays. These are offset by bordered, bright red text across the front and red dressing on the edges of the sleeves and waist.

Because of how short his time in Texas and Baltimore was, there are fewer shirts featuring Vlad as a member of the Rangers or Orioles. The other options that remain are American and National League All-Star uniforms. He made the All-Star team every year from 1999 through 2002, 2004 through 2007, and finally, in 2010.
