Nick & Nora is a brand of women’s pajamas that was originated by fashion designers Steven Abrams and Linda Rae Tepper. Their original sets of pajamas were part of the Shadow Boxer clothing collection; this included gloves, scarves, shawls, hats, and suspenders. They wanted to avoid being confused with Joe Boxer, so they eventually changed the name of the line to Nick & Nora after the characters Nick and Nora Charles from the film "The Thin Man" that starred William Powell and Myrna Loy.
