Facts about the BrewersThe Brewers are the only baseball team to play in four divisions. When the Milwaukee Braves moved to Atlanta, a local car dealer bought the Seattle Pilots and moved them to Milwaukee. With no time to purchase new uniforms, the Brewers played their first game in the old uniforms. Seamstresses removed the old moniker and stitched the teamâÿ_x001A_s new name on the front. The uniformâÿ_x001A_s design has changed three times since 1978.
What makes Miller Park unique?Before becoming Miller Park, the site was known as Milwaukee County Stadium. The new structure was completed in 2001, and the park was named after its sponsor, the Miller Brewing Company. Arched windows complement the red brick exterior. Statues of Milwaukee Brewers legends Hank Aaron and Robin Yount stand in front of the building.
- Mascot revival: With a new building, the teamâÿ_x001A_s mascot was revived. Bernie the Brewer is modeled after superfan, Milt Mason, who spent 40 days on top of a scoreboard until the stadium packed more than 40,000 people. Fans can watch Bernie from his new home, which is located in left field.
- Fan-shaped roof: It is the only venue in the U.S. with a fan-shaped roof.
- Retractable roof: Miller Parkâÿ_x001A_s retractable roof is composed of 12,000 tons of steel and extends 600 feet. It only takes about 10 minutes for the fan-shaped roof to open and close.
- Easy access: Wide concourses are easily accessible from practically any seat and escalators for Loge, Club, and Terrace Levels are easy to find.
- Lighting: There are nearly 700 sports lights that consume 1,008,000 watts of power.
Miller Park has a 41,900-seat capacity on four levels. Choose from field level (ground), loge level (second tier), club level (third floor), and terrace level (fourth story). From each altitude, you have the option of sitting infield or outfield. The ground level gets you closest to the action. Select seats include the following:
- Close view: The seats in the first eight rows of sections 110-125 offer a close view of players running the bases. To sit directly behind home plate, search for tickets in areas 117 and 118.
- Dugout view: For a view behind the dugout, look for tickets in sections 112-114 on the Brewersâÿ_x001A_ side and sections 121-123 on the visitorâÿ_x001A_s side.
- Club seats: Club Level seats range from 306 to 345. The infield seats (314-343) have a wait staff. Outfield seats do not.
- Family-friendly zone: If youâÿ_x001A_re looking for family-friendly zones, try sections 217, 309, and 417.
- Bird's eye view: The Terrace Level provides a birdâÿ_x001A_s eye view of the entire field.
