Honoring Spike Lee's famous Mars Blackmon character, the Jordan Son of Mars Bordeaux dropped in 2012. A mashup of multiple OG Air Jordan styles, this iteration also retains classic Son of Mars details dressed up with a familiar AJ Bordeaux colorway. A midfoot strap partially veils the upper, concealing matching mesh window panels, and the forefoot strap showcases iconic Mars Blackmon-inspired motifs. Black suede overlays at the ankle meet elephant print details on the forefoot and heel, the latter boasting a Nike Air cutout. The Jumpman appears on the heel counter, tongue exterior, and outsole. Perforations on the collar contribute visual texture.
