Although Air Jordans were made to be basketball shoes, and their original design reflects that fact, in later years, Nike has broadened the Jordan franchise to include some very different silhouettes. As a case in point, there is the Jordan Series.03, which sports a silhouette inspired by baseball shoes. This particular version of that shoe has an upper made of black and brownish-gold synthetic fabric. The latter covers the toe box and is visible on the heel. There is also a large black leather overlay on the shoe that covers the collar and much of the midfoot. There is a small gold Jumpman on the collar and a white Jumpman on the tongue. The sole is made of white rubber.
