The Air Jordan Fusion 6 got a Varsity Purple makeover with this colorway. A predominately white upper features a leather toe overlay, a heel and padded ankle overlay, a stitched Nike Swoosh logo, eyelet overlays, laces, tongue, and tongue strap. Black appears on the heel tab, the heel's Jordan Jumpman logo, the tongue strap accents, and the midsole. Varsity Purple accents are introduced on the tongue overlay's Jordan Jumpman logo and the heel tab's accent. A Zoom Air insert is incorporated into the heel portion of this midsole, providing extra cushion and support. A cool grey outer sole underlines the sneaker and provides a slip-resistant grip on the basketball court. This Jordan sneaker made its release to the general public on February 21, 2009.
