The 1991 OG New Maroon Air Jordan shoes were released to celebrate the 1991 New Year. They use the traditional Jordan 6 silhouette, which features perforated leather overlayed with angular patches. Other design highlights include cutouts along the tongue and a Nike Air logo on the back. Both the heel and the toe on the Jordan 6 OG maroon have a molded reinforcement, and the midsole is made of transparent TPU. Most of the shoe is white, but red accents appear on the tongue and geometric soles of the Air Jordan 6 OG 1991. The classic Jumpman logo is also embroidered in maroon.
