New for the 2014 catalog, the Jordan 28 silhouette released a Bamboo colorway in 2014 that featured an almost entirely white upper. A tall outer shroud is constructed of white synthetic leather. Perforation holes provide breathability and extra detailing to the shoe. Its zipper design unzips to reveal a mid-top shoe, tongue, laces, and black inner sock liner. A Bamboo heel, which serves as the only detour from white on this upper, features a Jordan Brand Jumpman logo. Black adorns the shoe's arch, while white covers the contoured midsole and outer sole, then coats the bottom heel and toe with a patterned tread. A White Jumpman logo is stamped into the arch. This Bamboo colorway released to sneakerheads nationwide in February 2014.
