Designed by Peter Moore, the same mind behind Nike's original Air Jordans, the Jordan Phat Low Dark Pine is a lifestyle shoe with a low-cut silhouette. Sporting a university-blue midsole with a snow-white upper, these UNC Jordan 1 Lows were clearly designed with Michael's days as a standout Tar Heel in mind. The heel's center section, which is bordered above by two rows of exposed stitches, carries a Wings logo in its center. Above the Wings logo, the tail end of a glossy black Swoosh bends into a multicolored pull tab. The lacing guards, the forefoot design, and the toe cap of this UNC Jordan 1 Low lifestyle sneaker all appear identical to those in the 1985 release of the first Air Jordans.
